We have three candidates for the three APA Representative positions for the online election on Tuesday October 6th from 7 AM to 5 PM. The candidate bios are below and the bios will be placed on the APA website for review. You will be sent an automatic reminder email to vote for the three candidates before the day of the election. Please reach out to the candidates if you have any questions or comments.
Unfortunately, we did not receive any confirmed candidates for the APA Treasurer position. There was a discussion between the Election Committee and the APA board and it was decided that a temporary appointee remain in the Treasurer position until special election can take place. We hope to have the special event soon or immediately after January 1st, 2021. We also had some nominations for APA Representatives made by others come in late on the Friday September 25th deadline. Unfortunately, individuals had to confirm candidacy and provide bios before the end of deadline last Friday and we were not able to accept any additional candidates this morning. We had to observe and comply with our original election schedule and with the election timeframe in the Bylaws. Let the Election Committee know if you have any questions and we will plan for a special election for Treasurer soon. Thank you
